Refund and Return Policy
Thank you for shopping with Franotech OU. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. Our policy is designed to be transparent and compliant with European Union consumer protection laws.
1. Right of Withdrawal (The "Cooling-Off" Period)
Under EU law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
- The Period: The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you (or a third party indicated by you) receive the physical goods.
- Notification: To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision via a clear statement (e.g., an email, contact form or a letter sent by post).
2. Effects of Withdrawal & Refunds
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery (except for supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
- Timeline: We will process the refund no later than 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back.
- Method: We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
- Deductions: We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you (beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods).
3. Return Shipping Costs
Important Note: In accordance with EU regulations, the customer is responsible for paying the direct cost of returning the goods. If the goods, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by post, you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
4. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
- Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (e.g., earrings, swimwear, or sealed beauty products).
- Sealed audio, video recordings, or computer software which were unsealed after delivery.
5. Faulty or Damaged Goods (Legal Guarantee)
Beyond the 14-day withdrawal period, EU law provides a minimum 2-year legal guarantee for faulty goods or goods that do not look or work as advertised.
- If your product is found to be defective within this period, you are entitled to a repair or replacement free of charge.
- If repair or replacement is not possible, you may request a refund or a price reduction.
